About Me

I'm a writer and editor based in New York with a focus on culture, politics, and the stories that shape how we live. My work has appeared in Jezebel and UU World Magazine, where I've covered everything from fast-moving pop culture discourse to long-form features on community and youth engagement. In the non-profit world, I've acted as a freelance copywriter for New York Edge, devising the language for the organization's 2024-2025 Annual Report.

During my undergraduate career, I spent two years as Head Opinion Editor at Jerk Magazine, where I led editorial direction across two sections and edited dozens of writers. I also got my start at Bust Magazine and in public radio, supporting production on NPR affiliate Pop Life.

I studied Communication and Rhetorical Studies and Political Science at Syracuse University, analyzing how language moves people and how power shapes the stories we tell.

When I'm not writing, I manage Saltwater Coffee and Wine Bar in New York City's Lower East Side.
